Lingerie Catagory Definitions

Baby Doll Lingerie may also be called Baby Doll Nightgowns or Baby Doll Pajamas. We define it as a garment for women or girls consisting of a hip length top of a delicate fabric. Often decorated with ribbon, ruffles or lace. Outfit normally comes with a matching pair of panties and is worn for sleeping. 

A Camisole is a woman's sleevless undergarment, now usually worn under a sheer blouse.  Also defined as a short negligee.

A Chemises is a woman's loose shirt-like undergarment.  Also a loosely fitting dress that hangs straight such as a shift

A Corset is a close-fitting undergarment, stiffened with whalebone or a similar material and often capable of being tghtened by lacing. Enclosing the womens trunk to shape and support the body.

A Teddy is a one-piece undergarment combining a Chemise and under pants, sometimes having a snap or fastening device at the crotch.

A Thong is defined as a brief garment for the lower body that exposes the buttocks, consisting of a strip of fabric passing between the thighs and attatched to a band around the waist.  A G-String is defined as the same except the piece of fabric is smaller.
